Candle Care & Disclaimer

Candle Care

We highly recommend getting a wick trimmer or using strong kitchen scissors (nail trimmers work too!)

Wicks DO need to be trimmed. 1/4-1/8 of an inch

Wood wicks will struggle to light with matches. Please use a regular lighter, usb or jet lighter.

It is important on the first light to reach the full melt pool otherwise it can result in your candle tunnelling and putting itself out.

Every relight you need to remove the charred area. If you don’t you are only trying to light dead wood and will result in your candle not being lit at all.

If your candle does tunnel please refer to our IG, we have a reel with instructions.

If your wick is too short. You can melt the wax around the wick with a jet lighter, hair dryer or use tinfoil to create heat. Pour some of the wax out until the wick is 1/4 of an “. Let it reset, remove char and relight.

Sometimes the crystals are too big and can prevent your candle from burning. Please remove crystal if this happens
